At the end of a Legacy Design Session, you will likely know more about estate planning than most lawyers do. You'll be able to make informed decisions about your own situation. You'll be able to design a plan that will actually work when you need it most. And rather than just get a big stack of documents that you don't really understand, you'll actually know what you have, how to use it, and how to really take care of your loved ones after you've passed on.

At your Legacy Design Session, we will go through a TON of information. You'll learn exactly how estate planning works and how the law will address your specific situation. You'll learn about the various options available to you to reduce costs, speed up the process, reduce or completely eliminate estate taxes, and much, much more. And if you decide to move forward with a plan (almost everyone does), then we'll actually design your plan with you during the Legacy Design Session. The whole process takes between 2 and 2 1/2 hours. But don't worry. Most people actually think it's fun. (Crazy, I know.)

If you prefer, you can schedule an EXPEDITED Legacy Design Session. To do this, you must watch a few short videos in advance of the session. Also, the $750 fee for the session is not waived, but it is applied to your planning (a great option if you know you are going to put a plan in place anyway).

Yes, we can meet "virtually" for a Legacy Design Session, although I'd love to meet you in person.

When we meet "virtually," we meet using video conferencing over the internet, usually using Zoom, an online application. It is very easy to use and it allows us to see each other. If you are planning with a spouse, you don't even have to be in the same place, although you both would have to have access to a computer or smart phone. (A computer is going to be easier to see and use.) We will send you simple, detailed instructions in advance of our meeting that will help you get online and be ready.
